Me on the silver screen

Some videos of me at various events ...

My favourite, this was an "Ignite" event in Taipei where I shared the thinking that eventually led me to the Ujilayo project. The format for this is really tough - you get exactly five minutes and twenty slides. The slides advance every fifteen seconds automatically, so you have to synchronise everything perfectly. I worked on this five-minute talk for 8-10 hours, and still fluffed it in the middle.

Here's an event we organised in Taiwan, the video was made by our interns ...

Not great camera-work here, probably because I move around too much! This was a talk I gave for a start-up organisation in Sofia on the topic of failure. They wanted me to make failure sexy, but failure sucks. So I talked about the reasons for failure and how to cope with it instead.

A little fun event, again in Sofia. This time they gave me some boring topic at a pitching competition, but then I realised they just wanted me to fill in while the judges made their decision. So I looked for something else fun and educational to do ...

Another Ignite. This one was a bit of a mess, not enough time to prepare so it wasn't "tight" enough. The message is woolly, but I enjoyed it all the same.

And finally, something I didn't even know was out there until I searched on my own name. A pitch for a friend at Startup Weekend.
